Trey Trapani is a native New Orleanian.  He joined Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert, L.L.C. in 2009.  After graduating cum laude from Tulane University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, he obtained his Juris Doctorate with a Certificate of Specialization in Civil Law from Tulane Law School.  Trey  graduated magna cum laude and was ranked in the top ten percent of his  graduating class.   While at Tulane Law, he was a Notes and Comments Editor for the Tulane Law Review, a journal in which he has been published twice.

Trey is admitted to practice before all Louisiana State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Western, and Middle Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.  He has experience in trial and oral arguments, and his legal practice includes, among other areas, commercial litigation, construction law, collections, premises liability, tort liability, insurance law, and zoning.  He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
