Robert Paul Thibeaux New Orleans, Louisiana
Mr. Thibeaux is a Member of the New Orleans law firm of Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert, L.L.C. whose principal practice areas are commercial finance and real estate. Mr. Thibeaux has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial finance, including construction finance, general mortgage lending, maritime finance, project finance and agricultural lending, with a particular emphasis in asset based finance. He is a frequent speaker at professional seminars and continuing legal education programs thoughout the state of Louisiana. Mr. Thibeaux is a 1987 honors graduate of Louisiana State University Law School, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and other honorary societies. Following graduation from law school, he served as a law clerk to Justice James L. Dennis of the Louisiana Supreme Court. Mr. Thibeaux received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University. Mr. Thibeaux is a member of several professional organizations, and currently serves on the Louisiana State Law Institute committees for the revision of the Louisiana Civil Code articles on agency and deposit and the committee for UCC Security Devices. He is a member of the executive committee of the Bank Counsel section of the Louisiana Bankers Association, and serves as a member of the board of directors of Boys Town of Louisiana.
