The Vieux Carre is one of the largest and most important historic districts in the United States, and site of the transfer of Louisiana from France to the United States in 1803 (The Louisiana Purchase). In addition to the Vieux Carre, New Orleans has one of the largest concentrations of historic districts in the country. In the endless quest to either protect or change different structures throughout Louisiana, we represent neighborhood representatives, real estate professionals, developers, government entities, historic preservation committees and citizen activist groups.
