Non profit and Charitable Organizations

When you are forming a 501(c)(3) public charity or any other type of tax exempt organization, you must first form a non profit corporation. Your organization must accomplish a number of things to obtain non profit status, including

  • Adopting bylaws
  • Obtaining an employer identification number
  • Preparing and submitting an application to the IRS to request approval of your organization as exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).

In general, if you have done things properly, you can obtain your non profit status within six months. Without proper guidance, however, the process can be confusing and frustrating. With our background in business organization and knowledge of the tax code, you can be assured that we will have your non-profit organized and approved as quickly as possible.
