Emily E. Ross


Emily Ross joined the litigation section of Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert in 2013.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ross clerked for the Honorable Chief Judge Ulysses Gene Thibodeaux of the Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeal.
Ms. Ross is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  She earned her undergraduate degree from Eugene Lang College – The New School for Liberal Arts in New York City, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. After college, she attended Tulane University Law School where she received a certificate in Civil Law along with her law degree.  While at Tulane, Ms. Ross was elected Notes and Comments Editor for the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law and served as the John R. Brown Admiralty Competition Chair on Moot Court Board.  She was awarded a law school scholarship, along with the CALI Award for Highest Grade in Legal Profession.
Ms. Ross is admitted to practice before all Louisiana State Courts as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
