Alert: Louisiana Extends Due Date For Certain Tax Return Filings And Payments
In Revenue Information Bulletin (RIB) 20-009, the Louisiana Department of Revenue extended to July 15, 2020, the due date (including payments due with such returns) for certain returns otherwise due on April 15, 2020 and May 15, 2020.The extended date applies to:
RIB 20-009 also addresses additional extensions for filing returns beyond the July 15, 2020 extended date, but provides that interest and penalties will accrue beginning July 16, 2020 on any outstanding balance of tax due.
