Biography

Daija Smith joined the litigation section of Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert, L.L.C. in 2025. Daija received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola University New Orleans Honors College, graduating cum laude. In 2019, she obtained her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, graduating magna cum laude. While attending law school, she served as the Managing Editor of Substance and Citation and a Student Practitioner in the Children's Right Division of the Loyola Law Clinic. While at Loyola Law School, Daija completed an externship with the Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle of the Eastern District of Louisiana. Prior to joining the firm, Daija clerked for the Honorable Veronica E. Henry on both the First City Court and Civil DIstrict Court Domestic Relations dockets.
